This is my family's favorite baked Mac and cheese recipe. By having a combination of three kinds of cheese which makes it cheesy and creamy, with perfectly cooked macaroni, plenty of sauce, and a crunchy topping.

Tips for the best Mac & Cheese

Freshly grated cheese, don’t use pre shredded. Pre shredded cheese typically doesn’t melt as well as freshly shredded, so for the smoothest, creamiest Mac and cheese, it’s worth grating by hand.
Don’t overcook the pasta. Cooking the pasta until it’s just softened but still has a bit of bite and firmness.
